Problems of Agricultural Land Use in Georgia

Small and medium-sized enterprises are important contributors to meeting social demands and shaping the budget of the country. Due to its special importance and positive features, the priority of any country's economic policy is to support the development of small and medium-sized entrepreneurship.
There are several different definitions of small and medium enterprises in the normative acts. Their scope of application for tax, statistical, accounting or promotional purposes is varied.
In spite of the coincidence between assumptions and approaches, there is still no universal definition of small and medium businesses, which leads to uncertainty and it is quite logical to divide enterprises into single uses.
These issues, as well as the essential factors for determination of the support need for small and medium businesses are outlined in this article.
