Construction Business: Status and development trends in Georgia
Abstract
The article presents the analysis and development trends of the construction business of one of the major industrial directions of the Georgian economy. The circle of problematic issues is outlined and opinions on their solution are presented.
Just like any other sector of the economy, a variety of factors affect the development, including the construction industry is very sensitive to faulty regulations and artificially created barriers. The paper develops the idea that the state should develop regulations and encourage small businesses in the construction sector, and consequently increase the number of employees.
