Recently, the publishing house "Innovation" published a monograph by Nodar Chitanava and Larisa Takalandze - Social Economy: Formation and Development (Part I)
The monograph is dedicated to the problems of the formation and development of the social economy. In this context, the socio-economic problems of the transition period to market relations in Georgia, their causes, and the external and internal factors determining the errors made (theoretical-political, theoretical-economic, theoretical and political-legal, theoretical-methodological errors) are discussed and analyzed in a complex and unified conceptual-methodological approach. In addition, the contradictory nature of the transformation of the national economy is explained - trends of revival and decline at certain stages, the spontaneous establishment of the market mechanism and episodic attempts to protect domestic production, the declared fight against the shadow economy and the rise of motivation to plunder national wealth, the course of minimizing the state's economic role and ignoring state regulation of the economy, and the unilateral development of integration processes.
