From self-regulation to state regulation: a new perspective or a puzzle

A large number of Georgian auditors and accountants were eagerly waiting for the new regulation.

As a result of long debates, reconciliation of positions, joint efforts of professional organizations and interested persons, at the end of May of this year, in the last session of its activity, the Parliament of Georgia adopted a new law "On accounting, reporting and auditing". Except for separate articles, the law has been in force since July 8, 2016.
