Pandemic and Contemporary Labor Cohorts

The full composition of companies has been found in a different reality because of the crises caused by Pandemic. Telecommuting work platforms, dramatic effect on the jobs, reduced work places, paid and unpaid employees on leave indefinitely, infected staff and other several negative dimensions have become ordinary for the organizations. However this isn’t a new discovery how is ensured company’s success by motivated and satisfied employees, maintaining of staff’s welfare and their motivation is much more difficult in today’s reality than before.
Human Resource Managers came across a new challenge. Their task is to provide the welfare of their staff and maintain them while companies are changing their method of approach with a priority of maximize profits survival. The circumstance is complicated and unpredictable. Wary and accurate responding is essential to survive the companies, maintain staff’s satisfaction and rise their motivation. To achieve above mentioned conditions, comprehension specificities of labor “cohorts” and carrying out activities fitted to them are decisive.
The article discusses the modern working generations, as well as the differences and peculiarities between the traditionalists, the demographic explosion (Baby Boomers), X, Y (Millenials) and Z generations. The characteristics, problems and ways of solving them revealed in the Georgian reality between the generations are presented.
