Impacts of Global Challenges on SME Development

The circumstances created by the corona virus have complicated the situation of small and medium enterprises so much that the vast majority of small and medium enterprises, independently, without financial assistance, will not be able to return to the pre-stop mark for a long time, and some will not be able to continue operating.
In order to stabilize the situation and neutralize the threats, along with the large-scale fight against the virus, crisis prevention and anti-crisis measures have been implemented to help businesses, although they are not comprehensive.
The aim of this paper is to identify the threats for the implementation of small and medium enterprises as the most flexible sector for economic revival and meeting the basic needs of the population and to develop proposals for their prevention.
The paper presents interesting proposals, the sharing of which will help the process of launching small and medium enterprises in the post-crisis period and the recovery of the Georgian economy.
