Abstract

You have probably heard more than once: Georgians, like Italians, are a talented but lazy people. I don’t know what Italians think, but why we are so sure that talent should justify laziness is incomprehensible... According to the Mavans, Georgians, favorable natural conditions made us lazy - the climate is ideal, lie down in the shade, stretch out your hand - pick a fruit from a tree, you will get thirsty and amazing mineral springs will gush from the ground. I will tell you, and like the Jews, you will have to cultivate the desert to turn the country into a desert! However, speaking in medical terms, our laziness is not a congenital, but an acquired disease, and hard work is a feature confirming the Kai-gvarishvili. Back in the 17th century, the Italian missionary Arcangelo Lambert wrote in his book "Description of Samegrelo": "In Samegrelo, no matter how big a man he is, starting from the chieftain, everyone works with great pleasure in their fields and grows food." Today, can you imagine a person who is hierarchically high working on his own land? The only exception they allow is in front of the TV screen! So to speak, to "promote" their own democratic personality.
