The Constitutional Commission of Georgia has published a working version of the draft constitution. The commission, consisting mainly of members of the Georgian Dream and “experts” loyal to the government, worked for only 4 months and, instead of introducing amendments and additions to the officially declared Constitution of Georgia, proposed a new edition of the Constitution. This is the fourth constitutional trial in the state of Georgia. We have had exactly the same number of governments. Each government (Gamsakhurdia, Shevardnadze, Saakashvili, Ivanishvili) changed and “corrected” the main document of the country according to its political taste and situational necessity.
