Abstract

The article examines Georgian-Ukrainian relations in 1992-2003 based on the memoirs of the famous Georgian public figure and diplomat Gela Charkviani. The work is extremely interesting both from the point of view of factual data and from the point of view of personal assessments on this issue. It is shown that in 1992-2003, relations between independent Georgia and Ukraine developed positively, which, along with the historical past, had a certain impact on friendly ties between the heads of state.
