SOCIAL SECURITY OF UKRAINE UNDER THE WAR AND POST-WAR PERIOD: FEATURES AND WAYS OF STRENGTHENING
Abstract
Relevance of the research topic. In conditions of the war, the issues of ensuring and strengthening national security, in particular, social security, become especially acute. The article is devoted to the study of the essence of social security in war conditions based on the analysis of real and potential threats, the search for sources of funding, and the determination of directions for the use of financial resources to improve the social protection of the population.
Goals and objectives of the study. The purpose of our study is a theoretical analysis of social security and the development of an integrated (comprehensive) strategy for ensuring the social security of Ukraine in the conditions of the war and post-war period, which leads to a deterioration in working conditions and a decrease in material prosperity, the spread of poverty and the stratification of the material situation of citizens, the deterioration of the material and technical, financial and investment, intellectual and personnel support, healthcare, education, culture, art, sports and, as a result, a decrease in the social security of the population.
Research methodology. The following methods were used in the course of the study: dialectical method — to reveal the essence of social security; system-structural method — to determine the state policy of ensuring social security under the war; comparison method — to develop a strategy for ensuring social security in Ukraine; graphic method — for a visual illustration of the results of the study.
Research results. The findings and results can be used to develop and implement practical measures to improve social security, in the scientific field, in the educational process of higher education in Ukraine in the preparation of specialists in the specialty 8.18010014 "Management of financial and economic security", in the field of ensuring the social component of the economic security of the state. The practical use of scientific results will contribute to the achievement of the highest level of social protection.
Recommendations. The impact of the war on social security requires the justification of new, more effective mechanisms and tools for its strengthening, as well as finding and attracting financial resources to restore the economy, infrastructure, and industry.
