Abstract

The concept of mineral resources in developed countries of the world. A mineral resource is a form of immovable tangible property that can be bought/sold, alienated, rented, or bequeathed. Nowadays, the concept of mineral resources is used in Georgia, which has survived from the time of the Soviet Union. From the legal definitions of Georgia on mineral resources, it follows that minerals are mineral formations in the earth's crust that are used in production. Thus, the concept of mineral resources established in Georgia, which is used in the legislative acts of Georgia and the decrees of state services, does not correspond to modern market macroeconomic approaches.
