Dynamics and Analysis of the Statistical Measures of the Funding for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Abstract

ASD is considered as a “young disease” in Georgia. However, the countries of the developed world already have in place diverse programs for the families affected with ASD, which cover treatment for both children and adults. The research has shown that timely interventions and systematic treatment can have a tremendously positive effect on improving the daily life of people with ASD.

The article covers the different forms and methods of collecting statistical data in the healthcare system. It also reviews the statistical measures of the rehabilitation program for the children with ASD conducted between 2016-2019 under the healthcare protection program by the Tbilisi Municipality City Hall.
