Will a free industrial zone make us prosperous?
Abstract
At the initiative of the Georgian government, the city of Poti will be granted the status of an independent economic (offshore) zone in the near future. What are the prospects for introducing an offshore zone into the economic space of Georgia, how successful and justified will the existence of a free and specialized zone in the region be, and what problems will it be associated with? Professor of Tbilisi State University, Expert on Economic Issues Mr. Emzar Jgerenaia tells us about the development of the Georgian economy and future offshore relations in Georgia.
