At the initiative of the Georgian government, the city of Poti will be granted the status of an independent economic (offshore) zone in the near future. What are the prospects for introducing an offshore zone into the economic space of Georgia, how successful and justified will the existence of a free and specialized zone in the region be, and what problems will it be associated with?
