LEGAL ISSUES RE LA TED TO INVESTING IN RE AL ESTATE

Abstract

Topicality. In the process of studying any issue, a significant role is given to the legislative basis, according to which the relations related to these issues are regulated. The Law of Georgia “On State Property” regulates the management, disposal, and transfer with right of use of all state property in Georgia. State property, in its turn, rep resents the state-owned movable and immovable properties, as well as in tangible property. Real estate is a necessary component for both the enterprises and the population. Any issue related to immovable property is the subject of at ten ti on from both the population and the investors. That is why the legal approaches relevant to the situation in the real estate sector should be worked out, in or der to properly consider the interests of the population and the investors. Stimulation of investment activities, along with the steps taken to improve the investment environ mentis one of the main conditions for attracting and implementing investments in Georgia, which, in turn, is one of the key components of the economic policy of the state.

Purpose of the study. The purpose of the research is to study the existing shortcomings in matters relating to assessment of land plot and ways to improve them.

Research methods. Based on the practical significance of the research problem we used systemic, historical and logical generalization methods of research in the performance of the work. Scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis methods are also used.

Conclusion. The conclusions and results obtained in the course of the study will contribute to the implementation of land plot assessment methods in practice in accordance with international standards, which, in turn, will facilitate the issue of determining the market value of a specific land plot.
