The role of preliminary decisions in the tax system

Abstract

Small business development The development of small and medium-sized businesses is a strategically important issue for the economic development of the country in Georgia. This area is responsible for employment growth and job creation. It is for these main reasons that it can be said that, given its contribution to the development and growth of the economy, the small and medium-sized enterprise sector functions as the “backbone of the economy” of any country. In countries with developed economies, small and medium-sized businesses have a great social impact and contribute to the formation of a middle class among the population. That is why the stable development of this area is a prerequisite for the stable development of the economy. Recently, 50-70% of the GDP of developed countries is produced by small and medium-sized companies. Taking all this into account, the governments of developed countries consider it a priority to maintain high rates of development of small and medium-sized businesses. In the presented work, we studied and discussed the essence, role and trends in the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Georgia, and the policy of support from the state.
