Harmonization of Georgia's energy sector with the requirements of the Association Agreement with the European Union
Abstract
The Energy Regulatory Authority in Georgia was established in 1996, much earlier than in the European Union countries. Since 1997, the Energy Regulatory Authority has become an independent body, and since 1998, it has been given the function of regulating the natural gas sector.
