Notable Amendments to the Tax Code

Abstract

The Law of Georgia of July 15, 2008 N206-RS "On Amendments and Additions to the Tax Code of Georgia" (Government Gazette N15, 22.07.2008, effective 06.08.2008) introduced significant changes to the Tax Code, including the tax rates for personal income, as well as income from dividends and interest (Articles 97, 195, 196 of the Tax Code) and the extension of the period for loss carryforward (Article 1922).
