Peculiarities of competition and concentration in the insurance market in Georgia
Abstract
The formation of the insurance market in Georgia began in the early 1990s. Periodically, insurance companies experienced strong fluctuations. In order to survive, a process of mergers and acquisitions was carried out. If in 1998 there were 32 companies operating, today their number is only 14.
