Free economic zones, offshores and a Georgia without poverty
Abstract
Man's striving for freedom began when restrictions were imposed on him. This phenomenon has many manifestations: the striving for personal freedom, the struggle for national freedom, and others. An interesting manifestation is the desire to create free economic zones (FEZs), which have been talked about a lot in Georgia recently (one might say, starting from the 90s). What kind of freedom is being talked about in such zones? What is the economic significance of a zone where this freedom is allowed?
