Conflict of interest and disclosure of information
Abstract
Although in all developed and many developing countries, provisions on conflict of interest and related information disclosure are an integral part of corporate law, in Georgia such norms were only reflected in the legislation at the end of March 2007. However, these changes affected only accountable joint-stock companies, as the amendments were made to the Law on Securities Market and not to the Law on Entrepreneurs.
