How to Legalize Land
Abstract
After the Georgian parliamentary elections, the permanent commissions established by the municipal councils of Mtskheta, Abasha and Gardabani regions to recognize ownership rights to land plots owned (used) by individuals and legal entities of private law stopped their work. Accordingly, the process of legalizing arbitrarily occupied land plots was suspended, which created a kind of skeptical attitude towards the presidential decree issued for this purpose before the elections. The situation is similar in other regions and cities.
