Who Stole Our "Energy"?

Abstract

I published several letters on this topic in the pages of the newspaper "Sakharolos Respublikis" in 2004-2006. The goal was simple: to support a very interesting (and necessary!) cause that the then Georgian Television Channel One had initiated and... unexpectedly stopped right when it had gained particular popularity. I am talking about the program "Energy" by the famous journalist and TV presenter Merab Beradze. Once a week, he offered us 25-minute programs based on specific materials on non-traditional sources of energy, engineering innovations, inventive activities... At one time, the TV journalist's interest in this topic was aroused by an unbearable crisis. Because of which all corners of the country fell into darkness. People had a hard time meeting their basic needs for the "simple" reason that we didn't have electricity. Gas, other energy carriers.
