Abstract

Nowadays, Georgia is facing a big challenge, on the one hand, it is quite a happy news for our country to get the status
of a candidate for the European Union, on the other hand, it is a great responsibility for the Georgian people; We will have
to fulfill a number of obligations in order to join the ranks of EU member states;
Today we will focus on that obligation, which is one of the important requirements of the Association Agreement with
the European Union - this is mandatory auto insurance for third parties.
The paper presents the importance and necessity of compulsory third-party auto insurance for developing countries
and their existing insurance companies; The object of the article is the Georgian non-life market.
