Abstract

One of the fundamental issues of the research area of pedagogy is the determining factors of development. In fact it is impossible to establish solid theoretical-methodological foundations of the educational system without proper access to it. The factors which determine both the general and individual characteristics of the development of human spiritual-spiritual structure and forms of behavior, has often been the subject of scientific discussion and dispute throughout the centuries. This was caused by its contemplation from different perspectives as well as presentations of different philosophical concepts and the scientific position.

The little-known coincidence theory of the famous Georgian psychologist Dimitri Uznadze clearly has obtained an advantage over the three generally recognized theories (nativist, empiricist, convergent) related to the problem of determining the factors of development. It has a deep understanding of the imaginary antinomy, which existed between two mutually exclusive provisions (heredity or environmental conditions) and was considered as an equal truth, containing its own trajectory in relation to the development phenomenon. We think that the presented theory is universal and applies to both the entire process of development and to its individual manifestations.
