სიმპტომატური კითხვარი SCL-90-R შემუშავდა ფსიქოლოგიური დისსტრესისა და დისსტრესის სპეციფიკური პირველადი სიმპტომების შესაფასებლად. წინამდებარე კვლევის მიზანი იყო SCL-90-R-ს ქართული ვერსიისა და მისი მოკლე ფორმების (BSI, SCL-27, BSI-18, SCL-14 და SCL-K-9) ფსიქომეტრული ანალიზი: ფაქტორული სტრუქტურის, სანდოობის შესწავლა, აგრეთვე ტესტის ვრცელი და მოკლე ფორმების ეკვივალენტურობის შემოწმება. კვლევა ჩატარდა შემთხვევით შერჩევაზე 464 პირის მონაწილეობით (მათ შორის 79% ქალი და 21% მამაკაცი, საშუალო ასაკი 21.4±6.2), რომლებმაც შეავსეს სიმპტომატური კითხვარი. ყველა მოკლე ფორმა მიღებულია ტესტიდან შესაბამისი პუნქტების შერჩევის გზით. მიღებული შედეგი SCL-90-R-სა და ყველა მოკლე ფორმის მაღალ სანდოობაზე მიუთითებს: როგორც კრომბაჰის ალფას, ისე მაკდონალდის ომეგას მნიშვნელობა 0.7-ზე მაღალია. კორელაცია SCL-90-R-სა და მისი მოკლე ფორმების შესაბამის სკალებს, აგრეთვე სიმძიმის ინდექსს შორის ძალიან მაღალია – 0.9-ს აღემატება. მაღალი კორელაცია, აგრეთვე ტესტის სხვადასხვა ფორმით გამოთვლილ საშუალო მაჩვენებლებს შორის სხვაობის უმნიშვნელო ეფექტი ადასტურებს SCL-90-R-ისა და მისი მოკლე ვერსიების დამაკმაყოფილებელ ეკვივალენტურობას. დადასტურდა კითხვარის როგორც ვრცელი, ისე მოკლე ფორმების ერთფაქტორიანი სტრუქტურა, რაც მოწმობს ფსიქოლოგიური დისსტრესის ფართო კონსტრუქტის გასაზომად განკუთვნილი SCL-90-R-ისა და მისი მოკლე ფორმების კონსტრუქტის ვალიდურობაზე. სიმპტომატური კითხვარისა და მისი ხუთი მოკლე ფორმის ქართული ვერსია შეიძლება მიჩნეულ იქნეს სანდო და ვალიდურ ინსტრუმენტად ახალგაზრდებს შორის ფსიქოლოგიური დისსტრესისა და ფსიქოპათოლოგიური სიმპტომების შესაფასებლად. მისი გამოყენება შეიძლება როგორც კვლევითი, ისე ფსიქოლოგიური კონსულტირების მიზნებისათვის.
