Pragmatism - a paradigm of political transition

Abstract

Pragmatism is the most important condition of modern Georgian political transition; It is a factor determining the value priority of state construction. Pragmatism is based on rationalism and is determined by space and time; His primary task is to get the maximum benefit from the real situation. In the process of Georgian political transition, the working style of political actors is not always based on national pragmatism. The part of the political opposition is especially distinguished by its destructiveness and adventurism. Pragmatism attaches great importance to political language and rhetoric; Provocative rhetoric is the style of a certain part of the Georgian political opposition. It is observed that the policy is based on personal and clan benefits. In the acting space, the Orthodox Church stands out with its national pragmatic approaches. In the conditions of the current geopolitical transitions in the modern world, the Georgian political authorities are trying to maintain peace and stability; Accepting the status of a candidate for EU membership should be considered an important achievement of pragmatic policy. The change of the modern world order requires new pragmatic approaches, which will depend on the rational thinking of political actors.
