Abstract

Georgian economic science has always been distinguished by an adequate perception of the challenges of its era and a deep understanding of its problems, which were always led by the highest cohort of thinking scientists with the faces of outstanding scientists. They always enriched the reconstruction of the country with timely ideas and were ahead of the era to a certain extent. Another interesting and very important book by Mr. Nodar Chitanava, a doctor of economic sciences, professor, a true member of the Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, author of dozens of scientific works and monographic studies, was shown to us as a true example of such thinking - this is "Global Challenges in a Unipolar World".
The book is created in a completely new format in Georgian (and not only Georgian!) economic literature, it is the opinions presented in the form of a dialogue with a great scientist. In the framework of this dialogue, the high intelligence of Professor Yuri Papasqua is consistent with the phenomenon of the author's thinking, and the dynamics of the narration are logical and profound.
The substantiated and argued conclusions in the book, very noteworthy views about the role of our country in the globalization and geo-economic space, as well as the problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic, can be considered the highest example of modern thinking.
