Abstract

The demand for evaluation activities in Georgia followed the transformation processes of the Soviet system. Acquisition, use or disposal of movable and immovable property, stocks, shares, business or intellectual property rights, which have become an integral part of post-Soviet market relations, is unthinkable without determining their value.
Banking, insurance, finance, investment, privatization, tax, brokerage, trade, as well as other areas and, therefore, economic activity as a whole, stand on the foundation of value indicators. In the changing dynamics of the development of events, upward and downward price fluctuations are common. Therefore, immediate response to them and ensuring the maintenance (valuation or depreciation) of real values of property rights in time is inevitable.
The reflection of tangible and intangible assets in the monetary image should correspond to the objective reality, the goal and purpose of the assessment, which can only be achieved in the conditions of special education, practical training, experience and observance of internationally recognized norms.
Developed economy countries have experienced many times the devastating consequences of unrealistic, inappropriate prices. Even in enterprises, financial problems and the prerequisite for bankruptcy are created by incorrect, unrealistic, inappropriate assessment of assets and economic operations. Disregarding the basic principles of evaluation leads to persistent crises and the complete collapse of the economic system for disobedient performers. Georgia is not protected from the threat of impending collapse.
